The Emancipation Proclamation is the most misunderstood, & misrepresented document in the entire history of the United States, or for that matter in the entire world. For more than 145 years people have used this document as Lincoln  intended, to divided the white & black races, stir up hatred, and to defame, & demonize the South. To show what I mean is true all one has to do is read the document to see that it is an act of war, not an act of compassion, justice, or the act of a humanitarian. It was Lincoln’s hope that the slaves would rise up and murder the white women, & children in their beds in order to bring the men home from the army, and bring about the end of his rebellion. Lincoln states that no slave should use violence unless in self-defense, but all accounts show that Lincoln would have been very happy if Missus Mary, her 6 month old baby, & nine year old son were found in their beds with throats cut, and heads bashed in. After all what would you expect of a man who says that the slaves are free if they live in a country I have no control over, but where I do have control....well....you remain a slave!
